Mellakka and sound experience pioneer Sonos have been partners since 2020. Mellakka is responsible for Sonos’ media and influencer relations in the Finnish market. Mellakka has been working together with the Sonos’ Nordic team to increase the brand awareness for Sonos in Finland.

Mellakka’s main task is to help Sonos become the top-of-mind brand for Finns when thinking of a premium sound system for their homes as well as to help gain visibility for Sonos’ products in the Finnish market.

Mellakka is implementing the global PR and communications strategy into locally effective PR activations including communicating Sonos topics to the Finnish media, coordinating the product reviews and tests, carrying out influencer seedings and paid collaborations. Mellakka has also organized product launch events for Sonos and received great feedback.

Mellakka was also part of Sonos’ content team and is responsible for localizing various contents, such as newsletters, website texts and marketing materials.
